Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using our service. They govern your relationship with EdgeKeeper.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the EdgeKeeper platform, including our website, API, and trading tools (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you are prohibited from using the Service. You acknowledge that EdgeKeeper is a software provider and does not manage your funds or provide financial advice.

2. Trading Risks & Disclaimer

Critical Risk Warning

Algorithmic trading involves significant risks, including market volatility, software failures, connectivity issues, and execution errors. Strategies that performed well in backtests may fail in live markets. You could lose some or all of your capital.

EdgeKeeper provides the tools for you to build and automate strategies. We are not responsible for:

  • Losses incurred from your trading strategies.
  • Bugs or logic errors in your strategy configuration.
  • Exchange downtime or API rate limits.
  • Execution latency or slippage.

3. User Responsibilities & API Usage

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and API keys. You agree to:

  • Provide "Trade-Only" API keys (Disable Withdrawal permissions).
  • Monitor your automated strategies regularly.
  • Not use the Service for market manipulation or illegal activities.

4. Intellectual Property

The EdgeKeeper platform, including its visual editor, node logic, and proprietary code, remains the exclusive property of EdgeKeeper.

However, the trading strategies you create using our tools are your intellectual property. We do not claim ownership over your specific strategy logic.

5. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately, and any active trading bots will be stopped.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EdgeKeeper shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
